Workplace Fairness Bill

The Workplace Fairness Bill was published on 12th Nov 2025, and details what entails discrimination, as well as exceptions. The original bill is easy to read, and we highly recommend HR professionals to be familiar with what constitues and doesn’t constitute discrimination.
Retirement & Reemployment Act (RRA)

From 1 July 2026, the minimum retirement age is 64. Employers can offer reeemployment between the ages of 64 to 69.
The Singapore government has clear structured guidelines on 1) how re-employment should be offered 2) other processes to consider, should re-employment not be an option (EAP, part-time, transfer)

If you’re an employer: take note that the correct calculation for CPF contributions is extremely important and can be considered an offence if done wrongly.
